Emory University Hospital in Midtown Atlanta, ranked as the best hospital in Georgia, needed an efficient parking facility management solution to eliminate delays and deliver a seamless, high-quality experience for patients and visitors.
Solution
Survision partnered with Amano McGann to install Micropak LPR cameras at every entrance and exit of the hospital parking facility, integrating automatic license plate recognition with the Amano Aria system to control access and automate exits.
Results
These are some of the benefits that Survision LPR cameras are providing:
- Patients and visitors can now stay as long as 20 minutes and the barrier will "magically" open for them at the exit.
- Drivers can now skip the ticket machines and quickly leave.
- For Transient parkers who use a "Pay-on-foot" machine, Amano Aria system will associate the paid ticket to the parker's License Plate and allow a frictionless exit.
Thanks to this technology, the Hospital can analyze statistics of the cars parked in their lots and offer a Frictionless and Touchless experience to the parkers.
