After nearly 10 years, more than 4,000 barriers equipped with this solution have been deployed, to the great benefit of public and private parking operators who have thus been able to implement operating functions based on LPR/ANPR (management automatic access for subscribers and rights holders, reissue of lost tickets, rapid exit by reading license plates, etc.).

The benefits of this solution are numerous:

  • Drastic reduction in installation and cabling costs: the LPR module connects to the power supply and the barrier network.
  • Discretion: The module in the barrel of the barrier is barely visible, which reduces the risk of vandalism
  • Efficiency: Excellent plate reading performance, particularly in the congestion phases, thanks to significant lateral angles
  • Speed: reading occurs in record time, allowing a significant reduction in waiting at the barriers

The NANOPAK LPR Camera from SURVISION has been specifically designed to be integrated into barrier barrels. Due to its very small footprint, reduced weight (490g), low power consumption, very short sighting distance and ability to operate without an external trigger element, it constitutes the ideal solution for integrating into access control barriers.

With generation 5 of SURVISION products (NANOPAK 5), integration into barriers becomes even more efficient thanks to artificial intelligence and the ability to read plates faster, closer and with even wider angles.

SURVISION provides barrier manufacturers and industrialists wishing to integrate SURVISION's NANOPAK into a barrier drum with a free license to use its patent, allowing them to provide their customers with a perfectly operational product.
